Ginette - Gemmayzeh

Ginette in Gemmayzeh is a beautiful restaurant with good food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. However, on January 10, 2026, when I entered the place with my Golden Retriever, I was told the restaurant is not dog-friendly and I had to leave with my dog, drop her off, and return, while my friend waited inside. About an hour later, another customer entered with her dog (also a Golden Retriever) and was allowed to sit inside. When I asked about this, I was told the owner made an exception for her cousin. This situation was not about a dog, but about consistency and fairness—policies should be applied equally to all customers. A business’s credibility depends on applying their rules without any exception, especially if it’s based on personal connections.
